Spring is finally upon us and the burning question in this week’s Auto Express is: How do the ‘two best cabrios in the business’ - the Mazda MX-5 and the Audi A4 Cabriolet - compare?

Journalist Mike Brewer takes both cars for a spin and finds the Mazda MX-5 ‘comes alive’ on long twisty roads. He’s impressed with the roadster’s proportions, ‘rifle-bolt gearshift’, rear-wheel drive handling and light controls, and declares it ‘way ahead of its rivals’.
