MAZDA TECHNICIANS ARE TOPS!

Rivervale Mazda is delighted to announce that Mazda Apprentice Jason Stevens has won the prestigious ‘Apprentice of the Year’ for 2nd year students, awarded by the Mazda Advanced Apprenticeship Programme. He received his award recently at a ceremony attended with his proud parents. This award reflected Jason’s personal achievements both in training and at the workplace.

“Rivervale Mazda is committed to giving customers an exceptional service, which means we operate a policy of continual improvement,” explains dealer principal Malcolm Hance. “This includes ongoing development of our staff – and we’re delighted with Jason’s progress and his well deserved award.”

Since its inception in 2003, Mazda’s apprenticeship programme has been very successful and its recent expansion to almost 70 apprentices in 2008 is testament to the work being carried out by Mazda and our apprentices to help ensure that Rivervale Mazda customers continue to be guaranteed a high level of expertise and service.

UPGRADED MAZDA5 ARRIVES AT RIVERVALE MAZDA BRIGHTON

Rivervale Mazda is pleased to announce the arrival of Mazda’s practical yet fun seven seater family car, the upgraded Mazda5.

The upgraded Mazda5 offers more passenger comfort, better handling, a more refined ride and greater user practicality. Along with these Mazda have refreshed the 5’s look and, for the first time, from March will make an automatic transmission available. Rivervale Mazda will offer the complete line-up of nine models with a choice of four equipment levels and four powertrains, starting from just £14,760 on-the-road.

“We are very excited about the arrival of the upgraded Mazda5. Our customers have always appreciated the reliability and practicality on offer with the Mazda5 and we expect the upgraded car to have an even greater appear with its refined visual styling and its enhanced driving characteristics,” says Malcolm Hance, dealer principal at Rivervale Mazda.

At its launch in 2005, the Mazda5 was the only vehicle in its sector equipped with dual sliding doors and although times have changed the 2008 update has maintained it unique standing, but now offers even more functionality and ease of use with optional electric sliding rear doors that stop automatically if obstructed while closing.

In addition, the upgraded Mazda5 makes more financial sense than ever whether private or business, with its improved fuel economy and lower CO2 emissions. The upgraded family-friendly Mazda5 also benefits from improved handling and introduces a wider colour range.

“A large number of Mazda5 owners are young families who favour comfort, convenience and safety but also expect a great driving experience and it's important to match their requirements with a C-MAV (Compact Multi-Activity Vehicle) that suits their often busy lifestyle making the upgraded Mazda5 an even better choice.” Mark Cameron, Mazda UK’s Marketing Director.

The Rivervale Mazda showroom line up is completed by the arrival of the new generation Mazda6 and the new Mazda2 supermini. Both have caused quite a stir since their arrival and have helped push Mazda to the forefront of Britain’s new car market.
